-the Father of Lights-

Now every good and perfect gift
comes down from the Father of Lights.
God left us with His Living Word
so that in Him we'd know our rights.

We're not within our rights to say
 He has cruelly left us alone.
 He is for us in every way;
 more Faithful than any known.

 I seek to honor Him in verse
as I set my hand to these lines.
His teachings we should all rehearse;
to fulfill His glory's design.
