The Father I Want

The father I want This man Has never been in my life, Or ever spoken to me Because he doesn't love me. Fourteen long years Have passed by, Not a word or a letter Has come from him, So many tears shed Yet he will never call me his daughter. Father Just call me daughter, Say you love me And hug me, Stand by my door  And tell me goodnight, Hold me when  I start to cry. Teach me All you know, Don't let a boy Play with my heart, Tell me everything will be alright When it's not. But these are all dreams, You have a life Without me, I understand... Father.
