The Fat and Skinny of If
The Fat and Skinny of IF
If I were fat I would wish to float
As a cloud in the evening summer sky
With the approaching of dawn's light beaming about
It's rays like flashlight beams all aroud me
To have the wonders of my fluffy whites
Turned orangy yellow or reddish purple
Until the dark until morning's new day
Oh if I were fat I would want to float
If I were skinny I would wish to slither
Like a snake about the grass or to be a crawling smoke
Who could enter the thinest crevices
To see what can't be seen by the naked eye
Perhaps to spy and learn secrets of buried treasure
Perhaps to find those things which I only remember.
Oh what terrible secrets I might harbor
If I could only be skinny
