The Fast Lane

Life ends too fast To live in the past The days are not long enough for us to be sad The sun shines bright With the flowers and birds, which are both such a delight I hear the good dye young But I want to live forever I walk outside, I take a deep breath And I make sure that I do not trip I close my eyes and open them quickly Out of nowhere I am beyond happy. A lot can change, when you change your perspective I am so glad that I never gave up Or else I would of just been another poet That rotted away in her own dust
