The Fantasy
As I reach down to skim the clear and placid stream,I begin to drift away to a time of
long ago. I envision back to carefree days of sunshine and laughter. A much more simple
time. The sky around me is such a lovely palette of blue. In the distance,a melodic
songbird haunting cry begins to mesmerize me. As I glance at my reflection in the glassy
water,I now see the face of an adult. It seems like only yesterday I was a child of
innocence and dreams. However, age should never matter.Whatever one’s age, we can always
return to days of being a fantasy child.
