The Family of Man

There are times, I can admit,
That I'm alone, without a mate.
        Where my solitary reflection asks,
If this is my lonely fate.

My early days were filled with,
Parents & siblings throughout the home.
Yet now my partner is empty,
As if I'm searching an endless catacomb.

Thankfully, I'm reminded of some
Wisdom given from experience.
That shouts from above the crowd,
To show me the common sense.

This lesson allows further insight, to
Remember that I am more than an initial clan.
And where as long as I contribute and
Interact, I'll always belong to the family of man.
