The Family Blessing
Oh, Father God, breathe a family blessing over us.
God, You are our hope and truth.
Bless us like You blessed Naomi and Ruth
In seeking You, we are avid
Free us like You did forefather David
Sweet minstrel and king of Israel.
You opened the blessing well.
May no suffocating plague come,
Fear, distraction, confusion and the some!
No root of bitterness stay
To take our joy or peace away
As You protect us in our place.
We have smiles on each face
For Your grace and strength too
We praise and we thank You!
