The Eyes

Better days come

What a nice sunrise

Struck my eyes

Mystifying colours

Orange with a hue of yellow

Glowing as the sun

Rising out the ocean

Oh, my eyes will miss

The wonderful things

That I can only glimpse upon

When the brighter day

Has just begun?

this is very nice. I love bright yellows of the sun. Orange can be nice too, especially for sunsets. I sure like this.

Hi Marvin, it is always good to go back into the early poetic work for you can find some real gems and this, your first poetic song is one such gem. An excellent write my friend. So short and yet it holds so much within its words. The mind sings its many symphonies. May your Soul keep singing its poetic realities. This is a defininte seven Marvin....Mike.

Great Linda! I am very glad to be here in poetrysoup.com! I never thought I could write poems but I dreamt to become a poet! Way back in my college years I barely wrote an English sentence because I am a mathematical person....But when I change the level of my consciousness I tapped my creative self. I wrote books about the mind, consciousness, reality and many more in just 2 to 3 weeks. This life I chose is really awesome! Thank you!
