The Eye

Yesterday we sing again
the same routine to act out again
a new motto an age old cliche

just like today, how things are slightly different
but only till you catch onto the what or who or how
that made everything different
or do we care anyway

the art of the party
past present and future poeticly painted and framed
bought and sold on ebay
yet no one can see their own reflection

it might take some time
side by side
one mirror erases his mind
the other a vision to replace him with insides

The eye and the window to the soul

have you seen the eye
forgot who you were
and now live a lie?

or backwards logic
some old cliche
favorite act of the world
just different ways to play charades with prophecys were not allowed to say

A tough age to live through, friend. But I am counting on you write things of perfection until the end, one love.
