The Eternal Second Chance

Not more than a year ago,
I used to fly parallel to time.
Sometimes, I was faster, overtaking time's constant speed.
But not always.

Now, I'm getting slower,
slower than it used to be.
It builds a tension in my head, arising to a great storm.
Time is mocking me; without even looking back.
The gap between us gets larger and larger:
time is gaining speed.
Or is it? NO.
I'm slowing, slowing down... gradually.

I should be gaining my speed,
and I'm trying.
It doesn't take much time to realize
that accelarating is hard work.
It makes this journey seem like a battle.
Maybe I should try again.
Is there any second chance?
 - Hardly anyone knows the answer.
Well,
We live in a ceaseless battle against time.
But even with time,
there is an eternal second chance:
TOMORROW.
