The Eternal Maraud

They were the first to be birthed, Tamed the lands of the earth; Took everything they needed, and gave back in return.

Then came the coloured,
Of whom they were meant to fear; Took their lands and pride, Left them ungeared

They're still here,
Alone; Living off of the little things they now own.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
