The Endless Wait
The Endless Wait
Those voices in the dark waters are calling.
Here they are, for there’s no escape.
Like being inside the depths of no return.
Although waiting for Christmas Day.
That surely will never come!
It’s the end of the line; they're drowning.
While facing Pyramid Head.
They all follow the same fate:
Lost hope, forgotten memories
Only the siren in the deep.
Reaching for someone, to take their hands,
They squeal with a loud cry.
“Let go! Let go!”
Then, a deafening silence.
May we never be them.
In the endless wait.
Their echoes, we’ll meet again.
