The End of Us
If I ask you a simple question. Would you be honest with me?
If I told you a simple truth, would you believe me?
We have too many secrets hiding behind our smiles. Not just you but I as well hold back the truth to protect us with lies so I can selfishly pretend this is real.
Time changes all things this is no exception. Love grows old and tiresome eventually the spark that burst into a flame of passion will come to a smoldering ember and then ash. We are not meant to be. I'm trying to fight this simple truth but you have lied to me so much I can no longer make myself believe you anymore. It's your turn too be honest and answer my simple question, Are you finally happy now?
