The End of the Beginning
Lying there so broken as life completes its final stage
Words don't need to be spoken in life's most tender age
Soon all is silent for no words can any longer be said
For it is ever too late to repent once the body is dead
The account has been sealed as in peace they will rest
And will later be revealed seeing if one passed the test
Only one answer will be correct all else being laid aside
The thing so many neglect is for their own sins He died
The relatives gather around as the body is taken away
Buried beneath the ground without even the light of day
Will darkness forever beset or will the light again shine
Jesus paid both of our dept He paid for yours and mine
Before a last word is spoken before a last deed is done
Let your heart be awoken to the Glory of His Only Son
Once we arise the account has already been weighed
As you realize the effects of the decisions you made
There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day.
John 12:48
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call
on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Acts 2:21
