The End of School

Outside, free and happy
Teachers in the shade
Loving you and hugging you
Having the best day

Summer on your mind
Baseball games, water parks
Spending time with family
Skinned up knees, mosquito marks

School is the best place
As it comes to an end
Field trips, movies, special treats
To students we commend

Just because it's over
Doesn't make it so
Heaven is a place
Your happiness will go

Baseball with the Angels
Grandma's kissing marks
Spending time with Jesus
In his golden parks

Happy there forever
Pain has gone away
It will always be
Like the end of school in May
