The End of Days

Into the end of my days I write
My soul on fire
My heart crumbling ash
Expressive art
When the sun explodes
The smokey horizon
Night ultimately falls
Twinkling lights
Fiery orbs of amazement
Touch the cool surface
Of a crystalline pool
Alice's looking glass
Silver edged shore
Dancing lights of joy
Butterfly kisses
Softly humming music
Natural lullaby on the moor
Moving smoothly through the cool
Like swans pure and graceful
Warmth beneath the vast bruised sky
Forever, words will write
