The End of a Friendship
I thought forever that you were my friend.
Maybe you could tell me when did that end?
I always thought that you would have my back.
But when push comes to shove it seems your loyalty does lack.
As your friend there's nothing I would not do for you.
But it seems my hardships are inconvenience to you.
When two people are friends they each play a part.
With a love and compassion that comes from the heart.
I am strong on my own and this I will no doubt survive.
But as for our friendship there's nothing left to revive.
So I'll end this by saying that I wish you only the best.
And it's only with a few hard feelings that I put our friendship to rest.
