The End Is Nigh

I had a vision last
Night, or was it
A dream; as I starred outside my window,
A wave of thick dark volcanic dust
I saw, from a distance, consuming everything it hit,
So down on the floor, I squat awaiting my turn, the grand show,
And in that moment around me, with my heart beating fast,
I noticed people's faces, disparity clearly lit,
Was this the end of things though?
Nothing happened. Had I already been reduced to dust
I thought, so outside the window I stood to peep
And a blood frenzy caught my attention,
I looked at the people in the room
And the next thing I know
I wake up to this world.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
