The End

Was it my jealous ways
That drove you away?
Was it the constant bickering?
Or the endless snickering?
Our love began to weaken,
with every passing weekend.
More than 100 smiles a day,
even with you being 333 miles away.
See the reason I’m like this,
is because I tried to fight it.
I wasn’t lookin for a relationship,
but your love came out of no where,
Like an extraterrestrial spaceship.
At first I didn’t care,
my feelings just weren’t there,
but then you snuck up and stole my heart,
Something that I didn’t want to happen from the start.
The more I got to know you, the more I gave in,
to the feelings welling up inside me.
But now we're facing the end.
The end of us.
