The Emeralds of Spring

Our Summer's begun
Neath the Gold-Plated Sun
Past Opals of Fall
Winter Diamonds enthrall

Chilled Whippoorwill cries
Sad Obsidian eyes
Thru tears it must sing
Of Emeralds in Spring
