The Ecstasy of Youth

I saw a smurf the other day,
Just after I swallowed a handful of smarties,
I thought they were sweets
But they looked like the things
My brother used to take to his parties.

The trees started talking,
I though it quite strange
Then a poor little dog
Melted into a puddle.
I started to cry,
Tears fell from my eyes
And all i wanted right then
Was a cuddle.

I saw a smurf the other day,
Just after i swallowed a handful of smarties.
I dont think they were sweets
And if thats what they eat
I dont think I'll be going to parties!!!
