The Easter Lily
The Easter lily welcomes spring, it tells me the long cold winter was a fling. Their closed pods start to open up, showing their beautiful faces-giving me a look closeup.
Show your long petals as your face, it makes me want to put you in a pretty vase. Your green leaves, are easy to weave. The Easter lily welcomes Easter and the Maker, a time for a new birth in man and creator. Each year I know when the lily has arrived, that spring has now revived.
