The Eagle's Confident Wings

The eagle’s confident wings are ‘The why’ It does powerfully fly, All the time, unimaginably high Up in the cloudier, foggier sky, Where humans don’t ply… Between the straight and the sly. The Eagle, though, comes down to die: Perhaps, on some tree it’d kept an eye: Like a baker fastened on his fast-selling pie Or the ageing grey-haired on his dye An undying tie.
