The Eagle Swoops Down
An eagle soaring high, I watch him in the sky,
slowly he circles, looking for his prey,
suddenly he dives, majestic in his splendor,
just when it seems he might crash into the ground
he skims along instead, his claws reaching down;
Up he flies, with his prize clutched in strong claws;
Dinner for the day.
