The Drops

the way it fell
I could tell
it was something
on her mind
fast then slow
the wind said hello
something was on her mind
it was a dark cold night
most leaves had fallen
of all the trees
the city would come through
and sweep the street
something was on her mind
she would rise to any occasion
but not much to say this day
just a cold night dropping
lifes woes of today
somethings on her mind
what would be the answer
to lifes question please
is it a sign of a new disease
somethings always on her mind
earth yes earth
as we pass through lifes time
dropping her melodies
somethings always on her mind!
