The Dream We Call Our Own

She looks down at the floor tonight
Hiding the tears that lie beneath
She’s always hoping to get away
Hoping to find prince charming

We all have a dream
The dream we call our own
That one night
 We won’t sleep
Alone
We all pray that
There is someone out there
Someone to wipe our tears away
But right now
We’re waiting
We’re praying
That we will
Find
The one

In the moonlight
Where he walks
He can’t bare to
Take one more step alone
He longs to hold
His princess
And never let her go
But right now
He’s alone
And he just can’t stand it

We all have a dream
The dream we call our own
That one night
 We won’t sleep
Alone
We all pray that
There is someone out there
Someone to wipe our tears away
But right now
We’re waiting
We’re praying
That we will
Find
The one

One night in the dark
She thinks she sees him
And when he looks back
Their eyes meet
For just one moment
And they run
Into each other’s arms
And they know
For now on
They will never be alone

We all have a dream
The dream we call our own
That one night
 We won’t sleep
Alone
We all pray that
There is someone out there
Someone to wipe our tears away
But right now
We’re waiting
We’re praying
That we will
Find
The one
