A love can,
A love can,
Rule your life,
Spur you on,
Spur you on,
To pain and strife,
The dream,
The dream,
Of James A. Gatz.

There are
Only two alternatives
For your spirit 
And breath,
To be with that love
Or to depart into death,
The dream,
The dream,
Of James A. Gatz.

(Based on a short song penned aged 18; but why I wrote James A. Gatz I don't know, as James Gatz alone is the correct spelling).
