The Dream

Unexpectedly, tired and stretching out from the day I fell asleep. A restless, tossing interlude in the day that continued without end and reality was but a dream Too soon the images truned where life and dream were inseparable. Standing there your specter presence appeared as if it had never left. The melody played that old favorite song shared suddenly resurfaced to play. The embrace so sweet, the dance so familiar awakened quick then gone.
