The Dream

I visited the dead
Inside my bleeding head
Saw him laying still
In a room with an assortment of pills
I watched as he slept
And I quietly wept
Watched as he slept
And I wept
Wept
Wept.
I heard someone coming down
I thought no one was around
I heard talking in the air
But I didn’t seem to care
I saw a familiar face
Someone I can’t erase
And I wasn’t prepared
For the moment we shared.
The voice came to the room
Where My heart was drowning in gloom
And finally he gave to me
A hug that set me free.
Then my sweet man rose
Out of bed with all his cloths
And I was able to say good bye
As I cried
Cried
Cried.
He walked out of his door
And then he was no more
I laid upon his bed
And woke up in mine instead.

Could feel the undescriptable sorrow. Sorry for the pain. Very well written, Nicole.
