The Dream

pondered in the realm of a trance, just after I set my eyes on her
I was going blind so I tried not looking at her for too long as if she were the sun
but I saw her like the sun even without looking
She was an epitome of everything
They call it love at first sight, but I already loved her even without seeing
And I still loved her after looking
It was like I just saw Aphrodite the goddess of beauty
But then I realised Aphrodite was nothing compared to her
She was not created on the 6th day alone, she took a day extra
And then I woke up, breakfast was ready
It was all a dream.
