The Dream

The sun bursts off at dawn while the birds still sleep, From a dream, I leap. From out of the nightmare I refreshed myself, In it, I was an elf. I was not an assistant to Santa Claus, An actor I was. I washed my face and made a cup of coffee, From the dream I was free. The sun bursts off at dawn while the birds still sleep, Waking up I a heap. To laugh not to weep. THURSDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2018
