The Door

I am scared of the door, and what all that may be in it,
I have paced in front for so long, I don't want it to go wrong,
It has opened though not very wide
I'll take a step through, if you will be my guide.

Set out a path and I will step too
Not behind or before, but in step with you
We can laugh or talk or say nothing at all,
Stuck in our own little world , we'd have a ball.
