The Divine Loss

In this world comes pleasure and pain.
Like the nature of the sun and the rain.

We think of good times and how they please.
And times that would drop us to our knees.

Although just a coin that has two sides.
They take you on very different rides.

The lessons that these principles teach.
At first might seem, somewhat out of reach.

Like some wisdom pearls pinnacle.
That some would consider cynical.

To understand the value of loss.
Study the carrying of a cross.

How failure can help show you the way.
To finding your fondest dreams someday.
