The Difference Between the Sun and the Moon

The difference between the Sun and the Moon,
The Sun brings us warmth,
But then leaves a sweaty mess behind,
Too engrossed with it’s own beauty and brightness,
To considered how much time we spend in it’s company each day,
Only leaving us behind when it gets exhausted of us,
The Moon brings us many things,
But not warmth or coolness,
But rather the presence of the enchanting stars,
The Moon knows what is means to be mortal like us,
Cratered and hollowed out by inadequacies,
Alone but yet not,
And she never knows how beautiful she really is.
