The Diamonds of My Heart

How could I be anything but grateful
For the blessing which have been laid upon me

My eyes see nothing but blue skies
Which stretch on through eternity

When I look to the lives of the fortunate
I count myself luckiest of them all

I’ve no ear to dance with sorrows
Or life’s complainer’s when they call

My heart take’s flight to the heavens
Where my soul floats upon Angel’s wings

My hopes shine as the brightest diamonds
As I live the life of my dreams

Ahhhhh. Thank you for the kind words. It was written with the recognition that each of us is capable of choosing to see the good …… or not….in our lives….. and of the thought of my love for my grandchildren
