The Devil's Nightmare

There is a spirit who calls out my name.
Only this mystery still remains.
The meaning of life he cannot see.
He only brings me pain and misery.

Into the night it follows me.
Through the shadows of eternity.
Until the end this fight goes on.
In this world he does not belong.

The Devil's Nightmare has no end.
In this life he has no friend.
As I seek out to find.
A way of life and peace of mind.

The Devil's source drives those away
The right path to choose or to go astray.
Like a man who has no name.
Only his enemies remain.

This enemy he tells no lie.
When it is your time to die.
While I live he is no friend of mine.
Forever until the end of time.
