The Devil's Lullaby
Sing me one more song to get me high
Take me to a place where I can’t cry
Somewhere far above away from lies
Somewhere where the Angels never die
Just another sound to close my eyes
Whisper in my ear and make me sigh
Something I still feel that I can’t buy
Something to bring a tear without a try
Let the rising water question why
Let the veil of darkness lift in my
Reasons to hate the daytime sky
Reasons to live though I rely
Sacrifice a burden or deny
Sacrifice our brothers and imply
There’s no way around the devil’s eye
This is our chaos breeding lullaby
