The Destruction of Hope

Firey red sparks flew, Terrified wildlife fled, Scared lost Roo, Filled with dread, Destroying homes, hearts, Humens and hope, bringing sombre new starts, No-one could cope, Many lives lost, Firefighters fought, At a terrible cost, In the flames they were caught, Destroying, spreading, Spotfire's, Grey ground covered in ash, flames stop for a bit, but are liars, Burning shops, crops, cash, Teary eyed children wave good-bye, To their burnt, black homes, Where old memories lie, And their gohst dogs roam.
