The Deep Freeze

The weather became bitter cold today
And housebound I will stay
I went out to try and start the car
It's winter's coldest day by far.

Colder than the inside of a deep freeze they say
minus fifty one the thermometer does display
I keep turning up the heat
To warm my body especially my feet

I want the cold spell to go away
Hoping for a warmer day
So you who have the sun and heat
A hot day would be a wonderful treat.

I HEAR you on this one, sweetie. I LOVE nice warm or hot weather, not that deep freeze.
