The Days Soundtrack

I like hearing hip-hop, jazz, blues, pop
 The metal and rock
The gospel, soul, slow jams of old r&b
and yeah sometimes a little orchestra and symphony
 I like them all
I would play them once and rewind to play them back
But sometimes I take out the earphones
To listens to the days soundtrack

I walk up my street
Listening as my heart supplies a beat
Changing rhythm to the pace of the fall of my feet
 It beats like a drum
And the bees begin to hum
 To the flowers in bloom
The wind’s whistle tickles the leaves
Of the trees that sway to the tune
Birds of all kinds sing a chorus for me to hear
As their soft songs fill my ears
the dog from a street over opens his jowls
And let’s loose his off-keys howls
Engines growl as cars began to prowl
A jet roars as it soars through the skies
And then there’s laughter and yells from little kids playing outside

I listen as these sounds surround me
And I accept their embrace
This ain’t ordinary music
This is the days

Beautifully expressed. Nature and our surroundings provide a special music all their own.
