The Days Keep Going On

The days keep on going on and the world keeps getting slower and slower. I
want them to speed up so that I can get to what I want quicker. The days keep going and I keep
getting more and more fustrated. More agitated. I want to get what I want and I'm tired of waiting.
Sitting down with people who don't mean a thing to me. Even their voices are annoying. Yet I
have to sit and fake a smile. I don't want to fake a smile. I don't want to feel trapped anymore.
Trapped in a place where nothing matters. I want everything to matter. I want every single
moment. Every single experience to touch my soul immensely. Powerfully. Even sinfully. I'm
tried of wasting my precious time on things that don't mean anything. Yet the days keep going
on and the song keeps playing. Maybe more inside my head than out. I am alone and i'm not
winning.
