The Day Will Come

My love for you grows continually like vines
I adore the happiness we used to share, it entwines
You and I's surreal soul and heart together as one
My soul cries and your heart shines as the morning sun

I soar to the rhythm and beat
Of your wings and dainty feet
I am waiting for something more
For, change is a challenging chore

Still tortured to the core it seems
You mend my once broken dreams
I suppose I am knowingly in love with you
I chose to feel the way I feel and that, I do

Darling, don't you know
You're my midnight crow?
You're a flower without a stem, a stem
Quit doubting the whim of His Kingdom

I live a life of death that doesn't die
It is nobody's business if I live a lie
I'm like a lonely log in the sparkling lagoon
Soon, it will be a bright and delightful afternoon

It's difficult to function
In the midst of destruction
Peace, come to us in time of need
Give graciously, wave 'bye to greed

The day will come when we will share cheer
We will be dancing everywhere like a chandelier
We used to share life without a single care
Our dreams is a childlike game of truth or dare

Our dreams will reappear
Without a single, sheer fear
Don't fence me in
With your love again

The day will come
When the pain will eventually numb
The day will come
My love, don't lose faith like some
