The Day She Wears White

The sun shines bright
as friends sit and wait
to see this maiden so bright .
Her day has come to unite
as a bride.
Her gown so white
as new snow in the light
softly flowing down her side.
It floats as a butterfly
on the warm summer breeze
as she walks down the isle.
The minster utters words of peace
and of love
as this man and woman unite
in her gown so white.
