The Day She Cried

It was only one tear
but it held the memories of screams,
broken promises and shattered dreams.

Not a word was said
but the silence spoke to empty vows,
and how an ending would be of wow.

A million raindrops
could not trump this tear;
an ocean of emotions filled with fear.

Go back to where you came,
to ducts tainted by a tongue’s words so strong…
of which created a painful, damaging song.

Tear, you don’t belong here!
Of this fragile day she cried!
To the time of this tear, I must - I must say goodbye!!
