The Day My Lover Left Section Ii

It is time to come home get a job and with your wife you build;
But if I am not the desire of your heart Don’t do what you will.
Come let us reason together; let me know your plan,
Get some guts have a backbone and stand up and be a man.
If I am in your way and you cannot find some peace;
Let me go, I’ll get out of your way and put your mind at ease.
If my husband could only hear my heart and really, really  listen;
Great memories we could have won’t just come up missing.
He said he needed peace of mind, he needed some time to think,
I’ve given him that, left him alone to watch the marriage sink.
He tends to be very selfish, he will not even call,
With my wisdom and knowledge we are headed for a fall.
We don’t need to wait on God WHEN GOD has given instructions,
We just need to read His Word and obey to avoid the obvious destructions.
My husband is sitting there waiting while God has told him what to do,
But because he lacks the wisdom and knowledge he just can’t see the truth.
His father is a Pastor; his mom is a mother in the church,
And I yet am waiting to hear how they helped this marriage work.
Did they tell their son the truth or did they pray and hear from God,
Did they allow him to do what he want, to make this marriage hard.
Did they agree with him; not having heard my story,
Do they think that I am a bad person and give their son all the glory.
All of this is important and it really matters;
For the relationship we have is just about to shatter.
My husband needs some guidance, he needs to be given a plan.
He needs someone to show him how to be a better man.
There are words and instructions in the Bible on them you don’t have to wait,
God gave us these words to read and obey and avoid a terrible fate.
Leave your mother and father and cleave to your wife,
And your wife will release you to help them with their struggles and strife.
Your wife only wants real love; from your heart and not your lips,
This will help to heal this relationship and you won’t have to trip.
I have submitted to my husband and how he says he feels,
All I really need to know is that his love is for real.
I want to be told the truth and I will tell him the same.
For it is the truth that makes you free in Jesus name
Instead of hearing truth he took his bags and ran,
He should have strapped up his boot, stood up and be a man.
If only he could receive the truth which came to make us free,
He would forgive and love me still, and stay with family.

Nicely concluded, Daisy. You have pleaded your case well...The verdict - NOT GUILTY! A heartfelt defence: Sincere and eloquent. My best regards, Daisy...And, of course, a much deserved seven! :) john

John Thanks, Because of your comment I realized I had not pasted and copy in the ending. There were a few more lines which I mistakenly omitted. Thanks and Much Love
