Ah! The day is blue!
   Guess what I'm going to do?
Slap a saddle on my Mon Ami
   And ride into eternity!

Sounds like a wonderful thing to do on a beautiful blue sky day! That last line is a wonderful expression of a day in sun and never wanting it to end. Your words are really beautiful.

Amy, I had hoped that the title of the poem, "Shy," would make clear that my use of the word "nude" in the poem was a metaphor conveying how a shy person feels in public. This is not prose with a literal intent. Donal Mahoney
