The Day I Met My Love

I remember that day
when I met my love,
it was like no other,
He was all that stayed on my
mind, all that I ever thought of.
The scent of his cologne still
lingered behind. We walked hand in hand,
In my heart, I knew he was mine.
Taking walks in the park, as flowers bloomed.
The sound of the birds were like hearing a sweet tune.
I love when I see him, I hate when we depart,
He has all of my love,
he holds the key to my heart.
The day I met my love, I will never for get,
The day I met my love, I will never regret.
