The Day Has To Begin
THE DAY HAS TO BEGIN
The night , at some point , has to end,
The day , at some point , has to begin,
When the world is sleeping,
When the sad are weeping,
A day has to come,
When the war has been won.
When the evil goes away,
And clear is your way,
When the earth is on the verge
Of extinction, life has to emerge,
A day has to come,
When the war has been won.
When the day has to end,
The sun must depart as a friend,
When the evil fades out,
Remember the lessons it taught about,
‘Cause a day has to come,
When the war has been won!
