The Day

The night...
Was filled with might.
I put up a good fight,
Along with your smile so light.
It started with a fall,
As your heart heard a call.
It was you and me on the ice,
So listen to your souls advice.
I took your hand,
As we glided by such a strand.
No, No one could have taken the moment,
When Fate has made his final judgement.
You brought upon hope,
As if we were connected by rope.
I waited so long,
To grow oh fond.
My heart sang with delight,
Driven by Fates kite.
Remember this day,
For it may be the last we see,
The day we conveyed,
The day it became you and me.
