Dawn rose on blue misty mountains, and matching blue sky; And it wasn't very long, before bluebells caught my eye. The bluejays sang sunshine, all around the morning glory, As blue butterflies flitted about, the peacock territory! Blue dragonflies crept on leaves, off to an odd somewhere, The world was covered in blue, although hardly yet aware! Coneflowers and grape hyacinths, danced to forget-me-nots, And sun turned slowly golden, as if nature's afterthoughts.

Blue is my favorite color. Your poem is a grand vision of blue nightly shades, but the sun is up and we discover the various hues of nature.

Isn't it interesting, Evelyn, that spring is full of shades of blue...and blue is a cool color! I liked your poem very much.
